We celebrated our baby girls first birthday this past weekend, and let me tell you I am ONE proud Momma! I've always loved watching babies grow in their first year and nothing makes me happier than when a baby smashes a cake in their face! Not only is it adorable, but at this age it is acceptable. Leading up to our girls birthday, I hoped she would smash this cake and let me tell you she gave it her all! Life gets so busy sometimes that you forget to get a little messy. So glad we had this time to spend with family. She sure is the center of attention in this household (and she knows it too). :) This was an excellent warm up for her upcoming cake smash photoshoot to come at the end of December! It's crazy how a year flies by so fast but this Momma has her camera ready to capture each special memory. God knew I needed a little girl who loved to have her picture taken (well sometimes, LOL).
